A shibari inspired interactive workshop for both riggers and rope bottoms that explores the anatomy of the body with a keen focus on nerves. You will learn how to identify the location and path of the main nerves likely to be encountered when tying in the upper limbs, pelvis and lower limbs as well as learning about and how to evaluate nerve damage.
Our Rope Jam is an open practice and rope play session for all riggers, bottoms and self-suspenders to make use of the studio, floor space, suspension points and hashira. The Saturday Rope Jam will occur on the 22nd June and will begin with Rope Care and Maintenance Community Class with WykD_Dave. Dress code is anything you find comfortable for tying in, go sexy or as comfy as you desire or anything in between. Come and enjoy tying in our calm and beautiful space and chill in our break out area.

In this introduction to Shibari you will learn fundamental skills and techniques which will be applicable to all your bondage will be covered with applications and practice and work with forms including lower and upper body ties. We will work on skills to enable you to focus wholeheartedly on the person you’re tying with and discuss the concept of working to reach the stage where tying doesn’t get in the way of connection.

We would like to introduce this one-off practical (no TK) class suitable for all levels, including absolute beginners and those would would like to improve their fundamental skills and understanding. There will be information for both bottoms and tops useful to both perspectives and a rope bottom 101 introduction to being in rope. All attendees will get a copy of Clover’s rope bottom guide to take away with them along with a printout of our most recommended warm up exercises!
