We've chosen the studio's location as somewhere people can get to no matter where they're from. You can use direct train or bus services from Nottingham and surrounding areas. The studio is only a few minutes walk from the bus and train services coming to Mansfield making it really easy to get to even if you don't drive or aren't right on the doorstep.
This is not 'Tension' or Studio Kokoro as you know [...]
A rope jam but not as you would expect it. Come join us for this event only and tie in your Jim Jams ;-). Wear your pajamas, lingerie, onesie, dressing gowns, negligee or nothing at all, whatever you like to wear at night... This event is 8pm till late (or early depending on how you feel).
We are hosting a collaborative photo evening play event with support by @Ellarna for photographers, models, and anyone looking to collaborate and have some pictures of their play. We will have a section of the studio for those who do not wish to have their face in images and a larger play area for those who are happy to have their face in the images. Please make sure you are in the correct area This will be made clear at the beginning of the event.
A shibari inspired interactive workshop for both riggers and rope bottoms that explores the anatomy of the body with a keen focus on nerves. You will learn how to identify the location and path of the main nerves likely to be encountered when tying in the upper limbs, pelvis and lower limbs as well as learning about and how to evaluate nerve damage.
Our Rope Jam is an open practice and rope play session for all riggers, bottoms and self-suspenders to make use of the studio, floor space, suspension points and hashira. The Saturday Rope Jam will occur on the 22nd June and will begin with Rope Care and Maintenance Community Class with WykD_Dave. Dress code is anything you find comfortable for tying in, go sexy or as comfy as you desire or anything in between. Come and enjoy tying in our calm and beautiful space and chill in our break out area.
This is a quick video showing the progress of the studio during it's transformation into the space you see today. We've come a long way. Many thanks to everyone who's helped us to get this far. We couldn't have done it without you!
