Fred will begin by looking at developing a deeper understanding and mastery of the fundamental elements of rope play that build the foundation of advanced practice, a benefit to any student wanting to excel in their rope skills. Beginners will learn proper techniques for foundational elements of rope play while more advanced practitioners will learn subtle but high impact refinements and modifications.
Join us for this exciting Whips and Rope Class with Fred Rx and Ropebaby. It can be hard to efficiently use ropes and whips together and keep a nice pace and flow with tripping over your tools. In this class fred will show some simple, yet effective ways to combine two of his favorite tools. This class is kindly brought to you on a donation basis by FredRx and Studio Kokoro. Please donate what you can. You can do this at the till in the donation section of the ticket amending to what you feel appropriate or you can select zero for the donation and donate on the day.
A shibari inspired interactive workshop for both riggers and rope bottoms that explores the anatomy of the body with a keen focus on nerves. You will learn how to identify the location and path of the main nerves likely to be encountered when tying in the upper limbs, pelvis and lower limbs as well as learning about and how to evaluate nerve damage.
Our Rope Jam is an open practice and rope play session for all riggers, bottoms and self-suspenders to make use of the studio, floor space, suspension points and hashira. The Saturday Rope Jam will occur on the 22nd June and will begin with Rope Care and Maintenance Community Class with WykD_Dave. Dress code is anything you find comfortable for tying in, go sexy or as comfy as you desire or anything in between. Come and enjoy tying in our calm and beautiful space and chill in our break out area.
