In the wonderful venue of Studio Kokoro, with one post per participant, a unique occasion to learn Hashira shibari with Riccardo Wildties and Red Sabbath!

About the Workshop

This workshop is dedicated exclusively to Hashira Shibari.
Hashira Shibari has been one of Wildties and Redsabbath’s favourite ways of tying since they started following the work of Sensei Naka Akira, and it has been one of the first things they wanted to learn from him. Kinbaku LuXuria can say without any doubt that they are among the people in the west that have spent more time studying, practicing and evolving Hashira Shibari.

This workshop will cover traditional Naka Ryu ties, as usual as revised by Wildties. Also some older fashion ties popular in Nureki Sensei’s time, hashira floor ties and also a few acrobatic ties.

We will work in depth on the technique and the aesthetics but also on the cultural aspects of this traditional form of shibari and of course on the psychological and physical effects on the model.

Hashira shibari has seen it’s popularity grow exponentially and it’s currently their most requested workshop.

Support

We are very happy to announce that @Kurogami and @Shiawase will be supporting this workshop with @Wildties and @Redsabbath for maximum benefit to attendees. About Riccardo Wildties

Riccardo Wildties is an Italian rigger and rope artist. He was first introduced to BDSM more than 10 years ago and shortly after discovered Japanese rope bondage. For the first few years of his study, Wildties was primarily self-taught and pulled inspiration from many top Japanese and Western riggers, without focusing on one specific style. With his partner Red Sabbath he immersed himself in the art and became one of the most sought out European rope educators and performers.

At the end of 2012, seduced and inspired by the work of Akira Naka, he started to explore a new style based on the use of ropes as a mean of aesthetic erotic torture. He devoted himself totally to Semenawa, focusing his bondage on a very traditional Japanese style.

In 2013 he finally met Akira Naka in Moscow. They felt an immediate connection both on a professional and personal level, and he decided to focus his work entirely on the style of the master.

In August 2014 he had the honor to be invited to perform as main event at Naka Nawakai, Naka Akira’s private session series. It was the first time that someone else than Naka San himself was main event at Naka Nawakai.

In 2015 he officially became Naka Akira’s Ichiban Deshi and had the privilege to tie in a duo session with his Sensei in Tokyo. Naka Akira has acknowledged that though Wildties is his student, that his unique form of bondage is a particular “latin” interpretation which proves to be much more suitable for Western students and models.
He was also received as part of The Naka Nawa Ichimon.

In 2017 he performed at Maniac festival Tokyo, Japan’s largest bondage festival.

In 2018 he had the honor of being the rigger for Sugiura Norio’s workshop in Denmark.

In 2019 he had the honour for the second time to be the riggor for Sugiura Norio’s workshop in Denmark. Performed at ‘You are the Legend’ Festival in Tokyo and at Naka Nawakai in December 2019.

Wildties regularly performs all of Europe and holds workshops and classes.
