We didn’t think we would survive the lockdown or this far into 2021 so want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us by donating to our go Fund Me set up by one of our studio members, joining an online class or buying rope since we first shut our doors in March 2020.

We had just celebrated our first birthday a week prior to closing, so we have actually been physically closed longer than we have been open.

What’s really special for us is that the community has not only survived but thrived during that time. Friendships have developed and deepened, people have found educators that inspire them that they would not usually have access to and attended classes showing very different perspectives to rope, from the dirty side to the more experimental sides and everything in between.

We can’t wait to see some of you in just a few weeks at our two (already sold out) Rope Jams, each with social distancing measures in place, until we know what the rules and regulations are nationally.

We will be opening in a different way to before, you will see some of the same events but we have so many ideas for new events at the studio and online.

We really cannot wait to welcome you all back and meet some people we got to know virtually and hopefully we will survive to 2022.

Thank you,

All the Kokoro Team
