A shibari inspired interactive workshop for both riggers and rope bottoms that explores the anatomy of the body with a keen focus on nerves.
You will learn how to identify the location and path of the main nerves likely to be encountered when tying in the upper limbs, pelvis and lower limbs as well as learning about and how to evaluate nerve damage.
Taking the “informed” in informed consent to the next level this fully academically referenced 2 hour workshop is perfect for both beginners and the more experienced.
There will be a break for 1 hour during this class and time for questions.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
The class itself will run from 1-4pm and we will have a rope jam running after this class until 10pm
How much does this cost?
The workshop and Jam are both free to attend, no need to buy tickets, just show up. Doors will open from 12:30pm for a 1pm start.
What do you need to bring?
You do not need to bring any rope for the class itself, but you will get more from the class if you have a partner to prod and look at anatomy with.
RopeJester has been practising rope for 8 years and studying anatomy professionally for over 10.
He has taught the anatomy for rope class throughout the UK and in Europe as well as contributing to the community knowledge base influencing many instructors, riggers and models own practices.
